Venture Starters is opening its Startup Intern Program for 2026, designed for those who want real exposure to startups, founders, and investors. This unique program offers auto-acceptance and requires just 16 total hours over 3–6 months. As part of this program, you will observe and learn; there is also a separate opportunity to become an intern for a specific startup you connect with.

About Venture Starters

Venture Starters is a fast-growing global startup community and a public service platform within the startup ecosystem. Our mission is simple: to help founders get unstuck and build teams to solve the world’s biggest problems.

We achieve this by hosting approximately 30 to 40 live Zoom pitch meetings each year, connecting founders with investors, advisors, and future team members. Our Free Pitch Zooms are open to the public and free to attend, often gathering 200+ people per meeting, with approximately 20 startups pitching at each session.

The Venture Starters Intern Program: What You’ll Gain

  • Auto-acceptance into the intern program.
  • A Certificate of Completion upon successful attendance of 8 Zoom meetings.
  • A recognized internship you can proudly add to your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
  • First-hand exposure to:
    • Startup founders pitching real companies.
    • Investors sharing what they look for in early-stage ventures.
    • Early-stage teams forming in real time.
    • A front-row seat to how ideas turn into funded startups.
  • An opportunity to connect directly with startups actively seeking interns.

Your Remote Internship Role & Commitment

This is a part-time, remote, non-paid internship with one simple, yet impactful, responsibility:

  • Attend eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings.

Your primary task is to show up, observe, and learn. Engaging with founders or other attendees is optional but encouraged. Each Zoom meeting is 2 hours long, totaling just 16 hours of commitment for the entire program.

Program Timeline & Flexibility

  • Start: Early 2026
  • End: When you’ve attended 8 qualifying Zoom meetings.
  • Flexibility: Attend when it fits your schedule. With 30 to 40 Zoom meetings available annually, you have ample choice.
  • Once you complete all 8 sessions, you’ll receive your Certificate of Completion and may list Venture Starters as an internship on your résumé and LinkedIn.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Able to commit to attending eight 2-hour Zoom sessions.
  • Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely.
  • Experience with events or communities is a plus (not required).
