Job Description: Stage – Chemistry/Laboratory Technician – Pigment Stability Measurement Method

This is a challenging internship opportunity for an MBO student interested in contributing to a large research company.

The Role:

This stage focuses on improving existing measurement methods for pigment stability in ink fluids. Canon Production Printing has developed two methods: one for particle size (DLS) and one for viscosity (rheometer). This internship seeks a student eager to contribute to the further development of these methods, aiming to find the most efficient and precise measurement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the guidance of the R&D UVgel-ink team, you will actively participate in the development of measurement methods.
• Focus on identifying the most effective and efficient way to achieve accurate measurements.
• Conduct research and propose improvements to existing methods.
• Execute a small accuracy study, learning to independently plan, execute, and interpret the results.
• Contribute to the ongoing ink engineering process.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an MBO program in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or Chemical-Physical Analysis (at least second year).
• Strong interest in improving existing measurement techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a larger team and adhere to agreed-upon deadlines.
• Available for at least 4 months.
