Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of experienced accounting professionals, the Staff Accounting Intern will be responsible for a variety of entry-level accounting tasks, focusing on learning and contributing to daily operations. Responsibilities will include:

  • Journal Entry Management: Accurately prepare and post weekly journal entries, contributing to the timely and accurate financial closing process.
  • Daily Fuel Reconciliation & Payment: Perform daily reconciliation of fuel transactions, ensuring accuracy and facilitating timely payments to vendors.
  • Weekly Reporting Tasks: Assist in the preparation and generation of various weekly financial reports, providing critical insights to management.
  • Fixed Asset Analysis: Support the team with fixed asset analysis, including tracking, depreciation schedules, and related reconciliations.
  • Audit Assistance: Aid in gathering documentation and preparing schedules to support internal and external audit requests.
  • General Staff Accounting Support: Undertake additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed, fostering a comprehensive understanding of departmental operations.
