What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee and take primary responsibility for treasury and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile: Execute the reconciliation of accounting records specifically for treasury and accounts receivable areas.
• Support: Contribute actively to the annual audit, preparing necessary documentation and assisting as required.
• Improve: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within accounting operations and work towards their implementation.
• Document: Systematically learn new procedures and thoroughly document all accounting processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, prepared to begin a career in financial management.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong, functional knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, the capability to effectively multi-task and manage various responsibilities simultaneously, strong organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and consistently follow through on work assignments, and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Bonus: A proven aptitude for identifying opportunities to improve processes, developing practical alternatives, and collaborating with teammates to validate and implement these improvements, coupled with the flexibility to operate effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
