What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Services: Prepare individual and business tax returns, working with senior team members, and assist with various tax planning and compliance engagements.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare accurate financial statements, and perform detailed account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and all applicable tax regulations across all client engagements.
• Client Communication: Professionally communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation, fostering strong relationships.
• Operational Efficiency: Utilize accounting software, Excel, and cloud-based platforms to complete engagements efficiently, managing multiple deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. Requires an active CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification. Candidates must possess knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting principles, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience is required, with a preference for prior experience in public accounting. This includes hands-on experience with tax preparation for individuals and/or businesses.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and various accounting software. Essential analytical, organizational, and professional communication skills are necessary to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
