• Mission: To accurately reconcile, journalize, analyze, and research various accounts and balances for investment operations, maintaining financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Prepare comprehensive general ledger and custody account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Analyze: Conduct thorough research and detailed analysis of account balances and transactions, investigating any variances or issues.
• Record: Prepare and review precise journal entries, ensuring accurate financial recording in accordance with accounting principles.
• Support Compliance: Provide essential support for SOX, Statutory, and SEC reporting requirements, contributing to the company’s regulatory obligations.
• Evaluate: Review investment transactions to confirm their accuracy, proper classification, and adherence to internal guidelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent business/accounting experience. Candidates must possess core accounting and GAAP knowledge.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional experience in an accounting role.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel proficiency. Requires a detail-oriented approach combined with strong organizational and analytical capabilities. Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Bonus: Prior investment experience, knowledge of investment statutory accounting principles, or practical experience with Clearwater Analytics and OneStream platforms are all preferred.
