What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting: Reconcile client balance sheets and perform routine accounting functions for client accounts.
• Payments: Manage accounts payable processes and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Payroll: Process payroll and prepare related payroll tax reporting activities.
• Tax Filings: Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time.
• Communication: Proactively communicate with clients and internal team members to ensure excellent service delivery.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, demonstrating core domain knowledge in accounting principles.
• Experience: Completion of a previous accounting internship or relevant accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Public accounting experience or experience with QuickBooks Online.
