Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders like Ticketmaster and Live Nation Concerts, promoting over 50,000 events annually. This Staff Accountant I position is crucial for maintaining accurate transactional accounting and providing foundational financial support for the Live Nation Concerts division, ensuring the smooth financial operation of numerous live events.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Recording: Maintain and record routine accounting transactions, including those from Ticketmaster and Groupon pushdown reports.
• Sales Reconciliation: Partner with local Box Office teams to ensure accurate and timely daily ticket sales recording across multiple venues.
• Invoice Processing: Process accounts payable invoices, covering exceptions, manual checks, and wire payments.
• Event Project Setup: Create project numbers for new events within the Oracle system.
• Financial Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare and post journal entries and complete assigned account and project reconciliations, including month-end.
• Intercompany Account Management: Communicate with internal departments to reconcile and clear intercompany accounts receivable balances each month.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Entry-level career.
• Experience: Zero to one year of comparable work experience.
• Skills: Quality problem solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Oracle experience.
