This Staff Accountant I role is important for executing foundational accounting activities, which ensures accurate financial execution, supports reliable reporting, and establishes a strong base for future accounting responsibilities within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Accounting Execution: Prepare routine journal entries, workpapers, and supporting schedules to contribute to an accurate and timely financial close.
• Account Reconciliations: Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations and resolve straightforward discrepancies using established accounting procedures.
• Financial Documentation: Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation for reporting, audit readiness, and internal control.
• Cross-Functional Accounting Support: Collaborate with accounting teammates and business partners to gather information and resolve routine accounting questions.
• Professional Development: Build technical accounting knowledge through progressively more complex assignments and exposure across multiple accounting disciplines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a foundational understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience or applicable internship experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; ability to organize work, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet established deadlines; strong written and verbal communication skills.
