What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Execute end-to-end general ledger accounting processes, including the preparation of monthly journal entries.
• Financial Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts, with a specific focus on cash reconciliations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed sites, collaborating with various groups to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Perform variance analyses on financial data and provide problem-solving support for assigned areas and accounts.
• Internal Controls & Audit Support: Execute key internal controls and provide assistance to auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Experience: 1 year of Accounting experience, along with hands-on experience using major ERP systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to analyze financial data and problem-solve effectively.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Accounting, CPA certification or being on the CPA track, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume environment, effective verbal and written communication skills, consistent ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
