Staff Accountant, JV & MSA Operations | Intuitive Health

The Tone:
This is a remote, Texas-based position at Intuitive Health, requiring once per quarter meeting attendance at our corporate service center in Plano, Texas. Ideal candidates will live within driving distance of the DFW area. Intuitive Health pioneered the combined emergency room and urgent care model, partnering with leading health systems nationwide to build and operate retail healthcare facilities. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and performing analysis related to the company’s joint venture and MSA operations, directly supporting the financial health and strategic partnerships.

• Team: Reports to the Accounting Manager and collaborates with partner accounting/finance teams and the Intuitive Health Joint Venture Operations team.
• Mission: This role ensures accurate financial recording and analysis for partnership operations, contributing to the financial health and understanding of joint ventures and MSA operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Compile and format large data files and reports received from partnerships.
• Transaction Recording: Record various transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records, including general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, roll forward schedules, and bank reconciliations.
• Financial Calculation: Calculate various monthly and annual fees earned per partner contracts.
• Financial Analysis: Perform monthly variance analysis for P&L accounts and document variances exceeding threshold amounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical and reconciliation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
