• Team: This role operates within the accounting department, collaborating closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams including treasury, tax, finance, and financial systems to support comprehensive financial operations.
• Mission: Own the preparation of key financial entries and reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements throughout month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Excel is required, with exposure to AI-enabled accounting tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) being a plus.

What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Prepare routine journal entries, accruals, comprehensive account reconciliations, and detailed roll-forward schedules.
• Financial Close Support: Contribute to the efficient execution of month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely consolidated financial reporting.
• Specialized Accounting Tasks: Assist with accounting treatments for acquisitions, divestitures, various reserves, treasury activity, and corporate borrowings.
• Financial Statement Integrity: Perform detailed financial analysis to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Audit and Compliance: Facilitate internal and external audit requests and uphold strict compliance with established reconciliation policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a fundamental requirement for this position.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional accounting experience is required to qualify for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong proficiency in Excel is essential for success in daily tasks and analysis.
• Bonus: Candidates with a CPA certification and/or public accounting experience are preferred. Experience with AI-enabled accounting tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude is also highly desirable.
