What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare financial entries: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, roll forwards, and supporting schedules for various activities, including cash and intercompany.
• Reconcile bank accounts: Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve routine accounting exceptions promptly.
• Support close processes: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by maintaining accurate general ledger balances and completing required documentation.
• Assist financial reporting: Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, related schedules, management reporting, and audit support for assigned entities.
• Maintain data integrity: Maintain complete, organized records for accounting transactions and ensure data integrity within accounting systems and the general ledger.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with foundational knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience: One to three years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience is preferred.
• Skills: Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and Excel proficiency; strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
