What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare general ledger journal entries.
• Month-End Processing: Process month-end entries, eliminations, and allocations.
• Account Reconciliations: Prepare, document, and analyze balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement accounting procedures through analysis of existing processes and recommending changes.
• Compliance Assurance: Collaborate with the management team to ensure full compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience in a GAAP environment, with great tenure at a previous company.
• Skills: Proactive ability to identify problems and discrepancies, conduct independent research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions; proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
• Bonus: Public accounting experience is desired.
