• Mission: This person owns the accurate and timely execution of core accounting functions, ensuring financial data integrity and comprehensive reporting for the client.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Management: Manage month-end financial closing activities and prepare necessary journal entries.
• Reconciliation & Analysis: Conduct general ledger and account reconciliations, thoroughly analyzing data for accuracy.
• Cash Management: Perform daily bank updates and complete comprehensive bank reconciliations.
• Asset Maintenance: Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation schedules.
• Reporting & Schedules: Generate financial reports, prepare supporting schedules, and analyze financial data for various stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required, demonstrating core domain knowledge in financial principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 0-3 years of relevant work experience in an accounting role.
• Skills: Proficiency in month-end close procedures, general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, journal entry creation, and financial data analysis.
• Bonus: CPA preferred, and prior public accounting experience is also preferred.
