• Mission: Perform entry-level accounting functions, including reconciling and analyzing various balance sheet accounts.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Access, LN or other ERP systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Prepare and review account analyses and reconciliations, including creating and entering month-end and year-end journal entries.
• Generate: Create monthly workpapers specifically for Balance Sheet ending balances.
• Document: Understand, research, and document various accounting process flows and transactions.
• Manage: Administer inventory cycle counts, including creation and system updates.
• Support: Contribute to budget setup for the new year and assist with year-end audit activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. Alternatively, candidates with 1-3 years of related experience combined with relevant training or education will be considered. This role requires a foundational understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and techniques, preparing the individual for entry-level accounting functions.
• Experience: 1-3 years of related experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. A working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential for successfully applying standard accounting practices in this role.
• Skills: Possesses strong mathematical aptitude, a high degree of accuracy with numbers, and excellent organizational skills. Requires strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of computer systems and accounting principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, and contribute as a strong team player.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Microsoft Access and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as LN, are considered advantageous for this position.
