• Mission: Provide day-to-day support and administration for accounting and finance processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite (or other ERP)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payment process, including preparing weekly payment reports and initiating online bank portal submissions.
• Month-End Close Support: Administer the month-end close for accounts payable and assist with identifying necessary month-end accruals.
• Financial Reconciliation: Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations as required.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure full compliance with 1099 reporting through the retrieval, organization, and maintenance of vendor forms, and provide support for year-end audits.
• Expense & Discrepancy Resolution: Review employee expense reimbursements for policy compliance and resolve any account discrepancies through investigation and direct communication.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 1-2 years of industry experience, with proficiency in NetSuite or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, ability to translate financial concepts for both finance and non-finance managers, and a commitment to core values: Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Impact.
