Staff Accountant | LendingOne
The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at LendingOne, located in Boca Raton, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring financial accuracy and compliance by managing general ledger responsibilities and the entire accounts payable cycle. • Mission: Owns day-to-day financial transactions and end-to-end accounts payable management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks, Sage, Excel
What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Process day-to-day financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and perform bank ledger reconciliations.
• Month-End & Audit: Support the facilitation of month-end closing procedures and assist with the yearly audit.
• Accounts Payable: Oversee full-cycle AP processes to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely vendor payments.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal, Asset Management, and Post-Closing teams to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Special Projects: Assist with technological transitions and other aspects of accounting as requested.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; this is an early career position.
• Experience: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
• Skills: Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Excel; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Eagerness to learn and takes direction well; a positive and growth-focused mindset; ability to manage multiple tasks; exercises sound judgment in handling sensitive financial records.
