• Mission: This position ensures accurate financial record-keeping, supports the retail business by managing various accounting activities, and contributes to efficient financial processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations related to cash, revenue, accounts receivable, and other general ledger accounts.
• Retail Transactions: Review and approve domestic and international retail invoices, posting corresponding payments and credit memos daily.
• Analysis & Forecasting: Assist in cash flow forecasting specific to the retail revenue channel, maintaining contra revenue and expense accruals, and preparing analyses for month-end close and year-end financial statements.
• System Enhancement: Contribute to Accounting team initiatives to implement systems, increase automation, and enhance efficiencies.
• Compliance & Controls: Assist with quarterly and annual audits, and support the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience working in general accounting; ERP experience, with NetSuite preferred.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of GAAP fundamentals including accrual accounting concepts, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, an analytical and data-driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines.
• Bonus: CPA and/or public accounting experience.
