This position is vital for managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial information for leadership and decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage daily transactions: Handle accounts payable and receivable activities, general ledger entries, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Execute month-end close: Complete all month-end closing tasks and process various company-related financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports: Generate financial statements and reports, and provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance and support audits: Assist with audits and uphold compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Optimize processes: Maintain organized financial records, identify opportunities for process improvements, and provide accurate financial information to leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with experience as a staff or junior accountant. This includes core accounting skills such as general ledger management and the ability to apply relevant accounting standards.
• Experience: Required experience includes strong knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency with common ERP or accounting platforms. Candidates must also have robust Excel skills for spreadsheets and reconciliations, along with practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Skills: Demonstrated financial reporting and analysis skills, including preparing financial statements and interpreting financial data for decision-making. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately are essential. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also necessary to explain financial information clearly and support cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as GAAP, tax compliance fundamentals, and a basic understanding of HR-related financial processes like payroll, benefits, and expense reporting.
