The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Denny’s Electric, LLC, located in Dickinson, ND. Denny’s Electric is a family-owned company established in 1978, specializing in industrial and commercial electrical contracting, and also serves as a leading Generac & Winpower Generator Dealer in Western ND. This role supports the accounting team by ensuring critical financial and operational processes are efficient and accurate, directly contributing to the company’s daily financial health and operational success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide comprehensive support to the accounting team by managing daily financial and operational tasks, ensuring processes run efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare: Create and maintain essential spreadsheets and financial reports for analysis and record-keeping.
• Assist: Contribute to key financial closing activities, including assisting with account reconciliations and month-end procedures.
• Manage: Oversee and organize detailed accounting and operational data for accuracy and accessibility.
• Navigate: Develop proficiency in and effectively navigate multiple software systems relevant to accounting functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Accounting professional with foundational knowledge in financial principles and operational accounting.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, gained through on-the-job roles or a combination of work and education.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet creation, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Bonus: Prior experience utilizing specialized accounting software systems.
