What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Process journal entries for expense reclassifications, accruals, and prepaid items.
• Compile: Assemble monthly income statements and verify all supporting documents for accuracy.
• Analyze: Review monthly financial results and investigate any variances from historical trends or operational reports.
• Manage: Handle vendor payments (utilities, rent, beverage suppliers, etc.) to ensure timely processing.
• Support: Provide timely and accurate accounting assistance to the Operations team and assist with special projects, offering financial insights and administrative support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships count), including preparing manual journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; strong communication skills to explain financial information clearly; familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and pass an Accounting Proficiency Assessment.
• Bonus: Experience in multi-unit or restaurant accounting.
