As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with financial reporting, directly contributing to the financial health and operational excellence that enables the delivery of exceptional care and service. Your contributions will ensure the integrity of financial information while supporting strategic and operational initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end close activities, ensuring financial records are complete and compliant with accounting standards.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and other balance sheet accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Operational Support: Support accounts payable, fixed asset tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial operations and reporting.
• Compliance Assistance: Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting by preparing workpapers, gathering supporting documentation, and maintaining financial records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; foundational knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are explicitly required for this role.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bonus: 1 year of accounting experience preferred.
