Job Description:
SSGM Rising Senior Summer Internship Platform
This 10-week summer internship program offers students a chance to experience the dynamic environment of State Street Global Markets (SSGM), which focuses on sales, trading, and research. The program provides hands-on learning, exposure to global financial markets, and networking opportunities with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with sales and trading activities: Contribute to the daily operations of the sales and trading teams.
• Assess market trends: Analyze market data to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Perform market and quantitative research: Conduct research using quantitative and qualitative methods to support trading decisions.
• Handle day-to-day transaction needs: Support the execution of trades and other transactions.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Majors: Computer science, data science, engineering, Math, Quantitative finance (minimum GPA 3.2 preferred).
• Background in: Mathematics, engineering, statistics, machine learning, or programming is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

Program Details:

Compensation:
• Annual salary range: $15,600 – $58,500 (subject to location).
