The Tone:

This Senior Accountant role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. By expertly managing critical accounting functions from full-cycle processes to financial reporting and analysis, this position directly contributes to the group’s continued growth and success by providing accurate and actionable financial insights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Full-Cycle Accounting Management: Oversee and execute all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance and the precise recording of journal entries.
• Month-End Close & Reconciliations: Drive the timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures, performing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations across accounts like debt, prepaids, revenue, and fixed assets.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial statements and conduct in-depth financial analysis, focusing on identifying trends and evaluating performance metrics.
• Audit & Process Improvement: Provide crucial support for external audits and actively contribute to enhancing internal controls and optimizing accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional demonstrating a robust foundation in financial accounting principles and reporting standards. This includes an ability to manage complex accounting tasks within either a public accounting firm or a growing industry setting.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of progressive experience, preferably gained within a public accounting firm, handling diverse accounting functions such as general ledger management, month-end close, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of full-cycle accounting, strong command of general ledger operations, expert ability in month-end close procedures, accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements. Additionally, strong skills in financial analysis and providing essential audit support are required.
• Bonus: Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, which would be highly valued and recognized.
