Job Description: Spring Internship
Location: Remote
Type of employment: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Description:
Interns will support Valens Global’s analytical work on national security issues, particularly focusing on terrorism and violent extremism. The intern will conduct in-depth research and analysis to assist with a range of projects for clients, including U.S. government agencies, private companies, and civil society.
Key responsibilities:
• Research and draft polished, well-organized, and thoughtful products.
• Conduct research using a wide range of open-source materials, including primary and secondary sources and social media data.
• Think creatively and brainstorm new products with the team.
Minimum Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience working in research.
• Strong critical thinking and analytic skills.
• Strong skills in interpersonal communication, organization, and working as part of a team.
• U.S. Citizen
