This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s tax teams and for an aspiring accounting professional to gain valuable hands-on experience in public accounting. The intern will assist with various projects, contributing directly to client deliverables while learning about diverse facets of the accounting profession within a friendly and challenging work environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Draft smaller tax returns for various clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support: Develop and organize supporting workpapers essential for larger, more complex tax returns.
• Analyze: Review and interpret broker statements to extract relevant financial information for tax preparation.
• Conduct: Execute specific research projects related to tax regulations, accounting principles, or client inquiries.
• Assist: Provide comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping support, including posting general ledgers and updating QuickBooks files.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at an accredited institution.
• Experience: Completed junior year in an Accounting program prior to the internship start date.
• Skills: Demonstrated academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
