Spring Internship Description
FC Dallas Youth is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and hard-working student to join their team as a Spring Intern. This hands-on experience will provide invaluable insights and practical skills within the sports industry.
Responsibilities:
• Event Coordination: You will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various events, including:
• College Night: Assisting with the organization of this event for senior players signing National Letters of Intent, ensuring a smooth and successful experience.
• Scott Dymond College Showcase: Managing online check-in for over 200 participating teams, coordinating and overseeing the headquarters and coach’s hospitality tent during the event (March 8-9, 2025).
• Dallas Cup Volunteers: Acquiring, coordinating, and communicating with volunteers for this prestigious tournament.
• Scholarship Management: Overseeing the collection of college scholarship applications and reviewing eligibility criteria.
• Tryout Preparation: Assisting with the planning and preparation for upcoming tryouts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Personality: Friendly, upbeat, and passionate about soccer.
• Skills: Hardworking, dedicated, able to take initiative, maintain a high level of professionalism, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility: Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays based on the match schedule.
Qualifications:
• Must be an active college student.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record with access to your own vehicle.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
