Tax Intern – Spring 2028 | KerberRose

This is an internship at KerberRose, located in multiple office locations across Wisconsin. • Location: In-person: Wisconsin, United States
• Team: Part of a team, working directly with experienced CPAs.
• Mission: This person will apply accounting concepts by preparing individual tax returns and assisting with other tax-related tasks, gaining hands-on experience and professional growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Software Navigation: Learn to navigate various accounting software and apply accounting concepts in a professional setting.
• Training Participation: Attend an initial training session to prepare for the role and meet fellow interns and team members.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual tax returns and assist with other tax-related tasks.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients in a professional manner, helping to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently pursuing an Accounting degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required; this internship provides hands-on experience in tax preparation.
