Allied Multicultural, a division of Allied Global Marketing, focuses on the multicultural market, providing services at the local, regional, and national levels. Their team uses publicity, events, grassroots/experiential marketing, and online/social media to connect with this diverse market.

Job Description: Spring 2025 Internship

This unpaid internship (requiring academic credit) offers the chance to develop project management skills and support marketing/influencer campaigns for well-known entertainment clients and brands. While remote, preference is given to candidates in Los Angeles, CA, or Miami, FL, to allow for hands-on event experience. The internship runs for 3-6 months, with a commitment of 15-25 hours per week. Occasional nights and weekends may be required for event coverage.

Specific Internship Duties Include:

• Assisting the marketing and digital/influencer team.
• Compiling research for marketing ideas, primarily focusing on African American (AA) efforts.
• Researching cultural events, vendors, social media influencers, and word-of-mouth (WOM) groups relevant to client needs.
• Recapping events and mailers.
• Covering events, red carpets, activations, screenings, etc.
• Organizing and managing important documents.
• Maintaining and updating client documents and vendor lists.
• Providing administrative support, including expense reports and data entry.

Requirements:

• Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Passion for entertainment and film.
• Reliable transportation (for in-person events, if applicable).
• Undergraduate or graduate student status (academic credit required).
• Residence in Los Angeles, CA, or Miami, FL.
• Minimum age of 18 upon internship start date.
