Description: Sports Marketing Internships (NYC – Summer 2025):
WBD offers multiple sports marketing internship opportunities in NYC for the summer of 2025. Applying to this posting makes applicants eligible for all available internships within this area. Interns will work in a hybrid capacity (in-office and remote, based on the manager’s schedule).
Specific Internship Possibilities (examples):
• Golf Digest Marketing & Audience Development Intern: This role involves developing marketing strategies to promote event participation, collaborating with the design team to create assets for various channels (email, social media, etc.), executing events, overseeing sponsor activations, and creating promotional email blasts and social media posts. A strong understanding of golf is required.
• TNT Sports NHL Marketing Intern: This role focuses on strategizing for NHL and US Soccer events, assisting in the development of the NHL on TNT 2025-2026 season marketing strategy and creative campaign, contributing original ideas, supporting the marketing team with various tasks, and contributing to long-term strategy development.

• Assisting with daily marketing operations.
• Analyzing consumer trends.
• Understanding and utilizing social media effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or Keynote.

• Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program (proof of enrollment required).
• Rising junior or senior undergraduate student (18 years or older).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (transcript required if offered a position).
• Authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Previous internship experience.
• Pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, sports management, communications, business management, or a similar field.
• Interest in soccer and the NHL.
Program Details:
• Duration: 11 weeks (two options for start/end dates: June 2nd – August 15th or June 9th – August 22nd).
• Hours: 35-40 hours per week (hybrid).
• Compensation: Paid internship with a competitive hourly wage ($19/hour for undergraduate interns, $25/hour for graduate interns).
• Credit: Not required, but documentation for school credit can be provided.
• Relocation: Not provided.
• Interviewing Period: February through mid-April.
