Job Description: Sports Management Internship

Job Title: Sports Management Internship
Location: Primarily Remote, with operations based in East Greenwich, RI.
Compensation: Unpaid; available for College Credit ONLY.
Hours: 10–15 hours per week.
Schedule: Flexible schedule, typically 5 days/week (2–3 hours/day). The daily schedule will be determined upon hire.
Start Date: Open until filled.

Position Overview:
This internship is designed for individuals passionate about sports, media, and athlete representation. The Sports Management Intern will primarily assist the Athlete Agent and overall agency operations, gaining real-world experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Provide support to the Athlete Agent with daily tasks and operations.
• Assist in the creation and posting of social media content.
• Attend local/regional events and placement locations to distribute marketing materials. (Gas and meal reimbursement will be provided for event attendance).
• Conduct research pertaining to compliance, recruiting strategies, and industry trends within sports and NIL.
• Manage and organize digital documents and files efficiently.
• Assist with document formatting, converting files to PDFs, and document comparisons.
• Support with scheduling appointments and managing internal tasks.
• Handle confidential information with the utmost responsibility and discretion.

Required Qualifications (What We’re Looking For):
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Canva or a similar graphic design program.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong interest in sports management, athlete recruiting, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) trends.
• Self-motivated and possessing a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a college student in Sports Management, Marketing, or Business programs.
• Previous experience in sports management, marketing, or media roles.
• Familiarity with various social media platforms.
• Skills in graphic content creation using Canva or similar tools are a plus.
