Job Description: Sports Intern at KMPH FOX26 (Fresno, CA)
KMPH FOX26 is offering a rare opportunity for a Sports Intern to join their team in Fresno, CA. This is a part-time position, requiring 10 hours per week.
• Key Responsibilities: The Sports Intern will play a crucial role during the Friday Night Rivals High School Football coverage. Their primary responsibilities include coordinating sponsorship scripts and graphics from the production truck. The intern will be responsible for an 8 hour shift on Fridays during High School Football season, and a 2 hour shift the next day to edit and feed highlights back to our Sinclair corporate team.
• Requirements:
• Must be completed or in their junior or senior year of college at a four-year accredited college or university.
• Candidates should be planning and preparing for a job in news.
• Seeking highly motivated and dedicated students eager to maximize their internship experience.
• Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $16.50 – $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, certifications, and location. While this is a part-time internship, full-time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
