Marketing and Events Coordinator | Alliance Highway Safety
The Tone:
This is an internship at Alliance Highway Safety, focusing on event coordination and marketing across the Western United States. Alliance Highway Safety is dedicated to impactful community messaging through highway safety programs, working directly with various states. The role is crucial for coordinating sponsorship events, sharing vital campaign messages, and actively contributing to saving lives and making a difference in communities. You will learn about event marketing, corporate sponsorships, and highway safety from experienced professionals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate and staff a variety of scheduled sponsorship events across the Western United States.
• Plan, book, and manage all travel arrangements necessary for event participation.
• Liaise directly with venue coordinators to ensure all sponsorship requirements are thoroughly met.
• Effectively market highway safety campaigns and engage directly with attendees and fans at events.
• Prepare professional recaps for clients and communicate program impact to managers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or currently a Junior/Senior working toward a bachelor’s or graduate degree.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must-have.
• Skills: Well-organized, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to multitask and manage time effectively, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay flexible and adaptable.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Application and HubSpot, along with creation experience using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva.
