Job Description: Spectrum Summer Internship

This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship program running from May 28, 2025, to August 1, 2025. It’s designed for motivated rising senior students (3.0 GPA or higher) pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations from an accredited college or university.

The internship offers a blend of hands-on experience and professional development. Approximately 80% of the internship involves team-focused projects within a specific department. The remaining 20% is dedicated to professional development activities, including:

• A Kickoff Conference on May 28th.
• Webinars.
• Community service.
• A cross-functional project.
• Final presentations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Writing, proofing, and staging content on the company’s content management system.
• Organizing content for an Inventor/Patent showcase (writing bios, gathering headshots, etc.).
• Assisting with business resource group-related content and events.
• Basic graphic design tasks (cropping/sizing images).

Qualifications:

Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree; minimum 3.0 GPA; authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship needs.
Preferred: Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask; analytical skills; collaboration skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective project and time management; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Compensation: The base pay is generally between $23.00 and $24.00 per hour, but the actual offer will consider factors like skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Some positions may be eligible for bonuses.
