Description: Spectrum Internship

This is a learning-intensive, full-time, 10-week program from May 28, 2025, through August 1, 2025. It offers essential business insights and hands-on experience in your chosen field, with a focus on the telecommunications industry. You will receive professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship.

The program is designed to provide:

• Formal mentorship and interactions with senior executives.
• Real-world projects that you can add to your resume.

As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be part of two teams:

Your respective department: You’ll contribute to department-focused projects (approximately 80% of your time).
Your intern peer group: You’ll participate in professional development sessions and networking activities (approximately 20% of your time).

These activities include:

• Kickoff Conference on May 28
• Webinars
• Community service
• Cross-functional project
• Final presentations

Internship responsibilities may include:

Java software development: Building a small feature for the API Gateway Self Service Portal

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2025 and May 2026.
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater in your current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for Charter Sponsorship.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• Programming languages such as Java
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally is between $26.00 and $27.00 per hour. The actual compensation offered will consider factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The company complies with local wage minimums and some positions may be eligible for bonuses.
