Job Description: Spectrum Business Administration Internship

This is a full-time, 10-week internship (May 28, 2025 – August 1, 2025) designed to provide essential business insights and hands-on experience. The program is learning-intensive and includes professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship. The internship is a hybrid model, combining in-office and remote work.

Internship Focus:

The internship is structured to provide:

Hands-on experience: 80% of the internship involves department and team-focused projects.
Professional development: 20% of the time is dedicated to professional development sessions, including a kickoff conference, webinars, community service, a cross-functional project, and final presentations. A formal mentor and interactions with senior executives are also included.
Skill development: Opportunities to gain new skills and enhance existing ones in a robust business setting within the telecommunications industry.
Networking: Opportunities to connect with industry professionals and build your professional network.

Responsibilities:

Internship responsibilities may include:

• Managing financial data within a planning database.
• Basic financial analysis for operational metrics and financial reporting.
• Consolidated financial report building.
• Modeling of operational project spend.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration between December 2025 and May 2026.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to travel locally for internship events and activities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
Preferred:
• Basic accounting methodology knowledge.
• Financial analysis and modeling experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

Compensation: The base pay is undisclosed, but the company states it will consider a wide range of factors (skills, qualifications, experience, and location) and complies with local wage minimums. Some positions are eligible for incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
