Job Description: Specialist Leader (Finance & Performance)

Work you’ll do:

As a Specialist Leader, you will work with the best in the business to solve the toughest client problems. You will be responsible for leading engagement planning and budgeting, mobilizing and managing engagement teams, defining deliverable structure and content, facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management, ensuring on-time, quality delivery of work products, managing engagement economics, and mitigating engagement risks. You will also manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning, budgeting, team mobilization, and management. Define deliverable structure and content, facilitate buy-in of solutions from top management levels, and ensure on-time, quality delivery. Manage engagement economics and risk.
Client Management: Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients.
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with key client decision makers. Organize and lead pursuit teams. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process. Contribute to proposal pricing strategies.
Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies, contribute to thought leadership materials, participate in public speaking events, and publish in industry periodicals.
People Development: Provide coaching and mentorship, contribute to the staffing process, participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and lead and support delivery teams.

The Team:

The Finance & Performance team at Deloitte acts as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. They advise, implement, and deliver solutions that help clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of EPM experience implementing one or more of the following technologies: OneStream, Oracle EPM, and/or Anaplan
• 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
• 4+ years of experience overseeing multiple project teams, leading or managing teams, and change initiatives (especially in a project management role)
• Proven record of consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

• Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team
• Proven skills as a project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations
• Ability to engage and manage senior-level client relationships
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Willingness to mentor junior staff
• Advanced degree preferred

Compensation:

• The estimated salary range for this position is $167,325 to $278,875.
• You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
