Department Description:
The intern will be placed within the Jeopardy! Editorial Department. This department is comprised of both writers and researchers and holds the critical responsibility for crafting and verifying the show’s iconic clues and their corresponding responses.

Responsibilities:
The intern will primarily assist the Jeopardy! writers and researchers with various tasks:
Material Preparation:
• Conducting research to find credible sources for specific clues.
Analyzing subjects or areas of knowledge to identify potential new categories for the show.
• Providing support for the implementation of the new JeoparVault system into the editorial process.
Department Operations:
• Assisting with everyday logistical tasks to enhance the team’s overall productivity.
• Contributing to a collaborative environment that promotes learning and growth for both the intern and the permanent staff.

Qualifications:
Candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:
Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Availability: Must be able to work 10-29 hours per week, in-person, during the internship period from September through December 12th (with flexible start and end dates based on school schedules).
Interest: A strong interest in television production, writing, or research is essential, particularly with a focus on quiz shows or trivia.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the Jeopardy! format or similar quiz shows is required.
