Emerging Professionals Program Associate (STEP) | QED

The Tone:
This is a 12-month, full-time developmental program at QED, located in Mesa, AZ. QED is an electrical products and services company founded in 1987, employing over 500 associates across 18 branches in Arizona and Colorado, serving commercial, residential, industrial, and OEM businesses. This program is designed to educate, train, and develop emerging professionals, providing them with comprehensive, hands-on experience across various business operations to establish their careers within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Sales & Quoting: Develop practical skills in inside sales, counter operations, projects, and quotations.
• Digital Solutions: Contribute to marketing, digital solutions, and E-Commerce initiatives.
• Client Relations: Engage in outside sales activities and a specialty track to understand client needs and market dynamics.
• Professional Development: Participate in team-building activities, company travel to different locations, and specialized training sessions to enhance business understanding.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level emerging professional with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; flexible and adaptable team player with an enthusiastic, self-starter attitude.
