Solutions Engineer Intern (Advertisement Team) – 2026 Summer (BS/MS) | TikTok
The Tone:
This is a Summer 2026 internship at TikTok. This role is crucial for helping external clients and partners thrive on their journey by identifying and solving technical challenges through architecting and building solutions. The Solutions Engineer also prioritizes client success and works cross-functionally to help them reach their business objectives.

• Mission: Help external clients and partners succeed by identifying challenges, architecting and building solutions, and influencing product development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationships: Build and manage technical relationships with customers’ and partners’ technical staff, driving joint engineering roadmaps.
• Opportunities: Collaborate with sales partners to identify business opportunities aligned with advertisers’ business goals.
• Solutions: Construct and launch new products and end-to-end customized solutions in partnership with Ads product engineering teams.
• Influence: Influence the roadmap of product development to address and solve business challenges.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Experience shipping production quality code, and demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design. Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026.
• Skills: Familiarity with one or more general purpose programming languages including Python, Go, Java, or C/C++; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences; and ability to collaborate with various sized stakeholder groups internally and externally.
• Bonus: Experience working with cross-functional teams; solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and development experience; good collaborator and team player comfortable in a fast-moving, culturally diverse, and globally distributed team environment.
