Solutions Architect Intern: Accelerating AI Research

NVIDIA is seeking a passionate and talented PhD student to join their team as a Solutions Architect Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the cutting edge of AI research, working with some of the world’s fastest AI supercomputers.

As a Solutions Architect Intern, you will:

Support End-Users: Interact with academic researchers utilizing GenAI, understanding their goals and needs, and helping to define and deliver high-value solutions using NVIDIA technology.
Develop Recipes and Playbooks: Identify specific use cases and craft tailored solutions for state-of-the-art research using NVIDIA frameworks. This includes accelerating data curation pipelines, video data loading, and more.
Scale AI Training: Work collaboratively with the SA team to optimize and scale AI training on HPC clusters, providing end-users with example use-cases and best practices.

To be considered, you should have:

• A current PhD student in a STEM-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in High-Performance Computing or Deep Learning.
• Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
• A demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
• Proven experience with DL frameworks, multi-GPU computing, and Generative AI.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Candidates with these qualities will stand out:

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), Multimodal Language Models (MLM), Video Processing, or Foundation Models (FM).
• Expertise in massive dataset preparation and pre-processing.
• Experience working with supercomputers at scale.
• Proficiency in profiling and analyzing AI training runs.

This 4-6 month internship is based in Bologna, Italy, offering a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced mentors and contribute to NVIDIA’s mission of advancing AI research and development.
