Job Description
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, Georgia is seeking a Summer 2024 Software Programmer (Flight Test) Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, maintaining, and documenting tools and processes that support the flight test data center. You will utilize specialized digital electronic systems, data processing systems, and other methods to accomplish the recovery, computation, and display of flight test data.
Basic Qualifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems, databases, and one of C/C++/C# development environments.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with MATLAB, Integrated Development Environment tools (particularly Visual Studio), and Scripting
• Experience with Networking / Network Monitoring / Ethernet messaging
