Job Description

Role: Software Instructor
Department: Client Services
Team: Global User Education & Resources
Location: Remote in specific areas of the US and Canada:
• US: Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska (West Half), Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota (Westernmost Part), and Texas (Westernmost Part), Nevada, Oregon.
• Canada: Alberta, British Columbia.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Salary Range:
• US based team members: $65,000 – $75,000USD
• Canadian-based team members: $70,000 – $80,000CAD
Reporting to: Head of User Education & Resources

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging and hands-on virtual software classes.
• Drive user knowledge retention.
• Maintain, optimize, and expand instructor-led content.
• Observe and give feedback to other instructors.
• Deliver Spektrix instructor-led modules on a set schedule and ad hoc as needed.
• Manage time and projects around scheduled classes.
• Explore and experiment with new learning tools and trends.
• Support the Instructional design team to create, maintain, and improve content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts.
• Advocate for the use of self-serve and instructor-led education offerings.
• Occasional travel to London/Manchester (UK) and/or New York (US).
• Regular afternoon classes starting at 5pm (Pacific Time) for US (West Coast) Software Instructors

• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a remote environment.
• Solutions-oriented mindset and expert troubleshooting skills.
• Experience educating adults on technology solutions, both online and in-person.
• Ability to distill complex ideas verbally, visually, and in writing.
• Strong PPT or Google Slides skills.
• Ability to present using Zoom or similar.
• Instructional Design experience.
