Entry Level Customer Training Specialist – Traveling | The Reynolds and Reynolds Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a leader in software solutions designed to enhance dealership operations. The company’s training department is instrumental in ensuring customers seamlessly integrate and effectively utilize Reynolds and Reynolds software. This Entry Level Customer Training Specialist position is crucial for guiding new and existing clients through software conversions and providing expert training and continuous support. The role empowers customers to maximize their investment in Reynolds and Reynolds solutions, driving efficiency and success within their dealerships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Conversion: Guide customers through a smooth conversion to the Reynolds and Reynolds system, ensuring a successful transition to new software.
• On-Site Implementation: Travel extensively, both individually and as part of a team, to customer locations for the installation and conversion of software solutions.
• Needs Assessment & Customization: Engage with dealership management to thoroughly understand specific operational needs, subsequently customizing the software system to meet these unique requirements.
• Personnel Training: Deliver comprehensive training to key dealership personnel, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the customized software solution.
• Remote Support & Preparation: From a home office, provide ongoing support to current customers, prepare diligently for upcoming on-site trips, and conduct essential follow-ups with recently installed clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideal for an entry-level role.
• Experience: Demonstrate a proven ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time. Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, maintaining a clean driving record with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years. Additionally, must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with an outgoing and friendly personality.
