Software Engineering (SWE) Internship – Job Description:
Juniper Networks is seeking students for Software Engineering Summer 2025 internships. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in software development within a robust summer program.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program (preferably in EE, CS, or CE), graduating December 2025 or later.
• Interest in working on the Packet Forwarding Software Team for the Juniper QFX5K/EX product line (Data Center Cloud Networking).
• Strong programming fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++.
• Understanding of operating systems and/or computer networking concepts.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience with Linux.
• Data science skills.
• Networking knowledge, especially in the EVPN VXLAN domain.
• Familiarity with software development tools like version control (e.g., Git), GDB, and GCC.
Project Focus:
Interns will work on either the VxBOT project or developing hardware unit tests (HW UT) for PFE software running on QFX5K/EX products.
