Software Engineering Internship at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology

This paid 12-week summer internship program is designed to provide junior-level students with the opportunity to apply their technical skills to real-world projects with industry leaders in Technology.

What you will do:

Make a significant impact on some of the most successful brands in the media and entertainment business.
Participate in challenging projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Work alongside other talented technologists who share your passion.
Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain easy-to-use data structures for reporting and monitoring key performance indicators.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, etc.
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, C++, and REST APIs.
Strong communication skills: both verbal and written.
Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks: Angular, Node, and React.
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases: SQL and NoSQL.
Process-driven and very detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.

Education:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology or a related field.
• Must be returning to school following the internship.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Must have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
Must be fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the 12-week internship (May/June – August/September 2025), 40 hours each week.
