Job Description: Software Engineering Intern – RAG & Automation
This internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge networking technology. The role involves two main areas:
1. Automation Tasks:
• Developing and implementing automation scripts to process data generated during the testing of networking equipment.
• Enhancing and optimizing simulations for thermal analysis of networking equipment to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborating with testing and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows.
2. RAG-Based Querying:
• Investigating and developing methods for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) based querying of component datasheets.
• Analyzing and interpreting datasheet information to support engineering decisions and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Working closely with hardware and software teams to integrate querying solutions into existing systems.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data processing and analysis.
• Knowledge of RAG-based querying techniques.
• Previous internship or project experience in a related field.
