About The Role:
Apex is seeking talented and passionate engineers for an exciting internship opportunity within the Software Engineering, Integrated Solutions Team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to take ownership of complex challenges and learn extensively about satellites. The intern will approach problems with a fresh perspective, aiming for reliability and efficiency through innovation and creativity to make a significant impact on the industry.

During this internship program, you will gain hands-on experience and professional growth. You will be assigned a summer project designed to provide real impact, guided by a dedicated mentor. The program also includes learning sessions to deepen your aerospace knowledge and opportunities to connect with peers and industry professionals through community events, ensuring a well-rounded experience to launch your career.

Key Responsibilities (Integrated Solutions Team):
Interns will contribute to the development of software infrastructure vital for Apex’s software teams to operate faster, scale effectively, and consistently deliver reliable products. Specific contributions may include:

• Developing critical systems that automate system and component-level testing.
• Writing Python code to interface and work with various test equipment.
• Configuring Electrical Ground Equipment (EGE).
• And more, related to enabling software teams’ efficiency and product reliability.

Requirements:

• Graduating in the Fall of 2026 or in the Spring of 2027.
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.

Compensation:
$45/hr
