Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft

Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements for features.
• Stay updated with new engineering methods and integrate them into your workflow.
• Seek feedback and implement industry best practices to optimize technical solutions.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills and successfully complete software projects within a team setting.
• Proactively seek new knowledge to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• At least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship.
• One year of programming experience in an object-oriented language.
• Preferred:
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

Location:

This internship is based in Lehi, Utah.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,460 – $10,680 per month.
The base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $7,040 – $11,640 per month.
